He has worked as a traveling PT and has been in outpatient, skilled nursing, home health, andrehabilitation hospital settings. His favorite part of being a PT is that it combines two of his passions—working with people and the elements of exercise and movement. “It is empowering and satisfying to help someone who is not doing well and help them progress to being independent or getting to their prior level of function,” Carl says. He looks forward to working with providers to combat the detrimental effects of bedrest and deconditioning by encouraging patients to be mobile as soon as it is safelypossible.
