| Special practice interests | Janine provides services along the speech-language pathology continuum of care for all ages in both our inpatient and outpatient settings. Specific areas include speech, language, stuttering, social communication, reading, writing, spelling, cognition, feeding, swallowing, voice, and auditory rehabilitation assessment and treatment. Janine also has specialized training in dyslexia, literacy, augmentative and alternative communication, neuro-affirming autism intervention, and gender-affirming voice modification service provision. |
Biography
Born and raised in the suburbs of Pennsylvania, Janine moved to Memphis, TN to complete her graduate coursework in speech-language pathology before accepting her position at Whitman. Well-rounded in her training, Janine completed rotations in pediatric acute care, adult and geriatric acute care, all ages outpatient, and public-school facilities. A public servant a heart, Janine fell in love with Whitman Hospital and its mission to serve its community.
