Whitman Hospital's laboratory is proud to provide state-of-the-art services to the community. We are well known for our friendly, compassionate, prompt, high-quality service.
We accept laboratory orders from both local and out-of-town providers. Results are sent directly to your provider's office, usually within a few hours for most tests. We partner with a reference laboratory in Spokane to provide results within 24 to 48 hours for tests not performed in our laboratory.
We meet stringent accreditation standards set by the College of American Pathologists and the Washington Department of Health. All members of our laboratory team are certified in the fields of phlebotomy or medical laboratory science. Our laboratory medical director is a physician board-certified in pathology.
We provide 24-hour coverage for the hospital and have convenient hours for outpatient testing. Arrangements can be made for outpatient testing at other times for special circumstances.
